Independent Opera Company is going to present The Gipsy Princess,lovely operetta by Hungarian composer Emmerich Kalman.
Full of wonderful music and entertaining dialogue, this work tells the story of Sylva, talented and beautiful Cabaret singer and her struggle to achieve respect, recognition and happiness.This is a love story with a happy end, which also talks about such serious subjects as social equality, women's rights and value of friendship and honesty, but in a very lighthearted and enchanted way. Minimal age for seniors is 60. Your place will be reserved once you pay for the ticket; however there are no assigned sits, it's on first come first served bases. |
