Max presents "Romantic Interludes: Sexy and Playful Exploration for Couples"
Curious about how kink might deepen your connections and build intimacy? Already added some BDSM practices into your life, but interested in exploring different dynamics in your relationship? Or maybe you've encountered kink and find it attractive, but you're not sure how to make it a positive, empowering addition to your relationship?
Whatever your situation, kink can be one of the most effective ways to build intimacy in a relationship.
In this workshop we'll explore using the playfulness and power of BDSM to explore edges, build trust, and move your relationships to the next level.
Knowing what you want - and don't want - is fundamental to intimacy. We'll discuss and explore tools for self-awareness, communication, building consent, and avoiding compliance.
Using that context, we'll spend most of our time playing and exploring kinky skills and power dynamics.
We'll delve into the playful side of a number of kinky skills - spanking, rope, hoods and restraints, hair pulling. The options are endless! And we'll explore the things we can do with our minds - role play, dirty talk, playing with power
Mainly, we'll cultivate our imaginations to let go and explore a world where we are free to define and expand our own sexuality, exploring the sexy and playful world of intimacy with our partners.
This workshop will include lecture, demos and a lot of hands-on exploration. You're always welcome to sit out an exercise, of course - participation is voluntary and defined by your and your partners consent. There will be plenty of time for Q&A too.
Max will provide some sexy snacks and beverages as part of our celebration - show up at 6:30 when the doors open and stay 30 minutes after we end for some social time!
This workshop is for couples only, and is appropriate for all genders and for all orientations. As with all of Maxs workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.

Max has been active in Seattle's kink community since 1992 and has been teaching bondage, BDSM, and polyamory workshops since 1999.
While he is proficient with a wide range of BDSM skills, Max especially enjoys the intimacy of rope bondage and the intensity of the singletail. Max projects a gentle, dominant energy, and all of his relationships - and most of his scenes - include a substantial D/S component.
