Facing the deterioration of old machines and the advance of new technologies, printing presses in Argentina are on the verge of closing up shop. When a group of young enthusiasts rediscovers typeset printinga trade that has always been passed down from master to apprenticewill the last graphic mechanic in the country be able to teach these young outsiders the craft? Will this ancient technique withstand the passage of time?
Frente al deterioro de las máquinas y el avance de las nuevas tecnologías, los históricos imprenteros se encuentran cerrando sus talleres. Al mismo tiempo, un grupo de jóvenes redescubre la mayor innovación técnica en la historia de la palabra escrita: la impresión de caracteres móviles; pero se les dificultará aprender el oficio ya que siempre fue transmitido de persona a persona. El último mecánico gráfico del país será el encargado de enseñarles. Podrá este antiguo oficio resistir el paso del tiempo?
