Andrea Bell Wolff: "I Cant Trace Time " - Unplugged
Broadway baby Andrea Bell Wolff's modern musical memoir, "I Can't Trace Time," is a celebration of creativity and a non-linear, true-life tale. From her debut in Hello, Dolly! at age 16, life on the road in National Tours, at Caesar's Palace, on The Ed Sullivan Show and marriage, to motherhood and very soon, grandmother-hood, this hilariously funny, petite and powerful entertainer authentically challenges our notion of what's age appropriate. Music by Sia, Stephen Schwartz, David Bowie, Stevie Nicks, Burt Bacharach... Directed by Dan Ruth, Music Director/Pianist: Jude Obermuller
Andrea Bell Wolff has an esteemed show business history. As a teenager attending the Professional Children's School, she was cast as Ermengarde in the first National Tour of Hello Dolly! starring Carol Channing. Since then, she's played major roles in George M!, Lil Abner, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors and Funny Girl in esteemed venues including The St. James Theater, Goodspeed and The Papermill Playhouse. Her work in the revue, Bottoms Up! took her from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas - where she opened for stars such as The Fifth Dimension and Engelbert Humperdinck - to Australia, and she toured extensively with Disney in many shows nationally. As part of the show band, Your Fathers Mustache, she performed regularly on The Ed Sullivan Show doing audience warm-ups, and she was also a regular on the Donny and Marie Show working with Sid and Marty Krofft, often playing a dancing clock. She appeared on Emergency! and has acted in commercial work as well, on both coasts. Her critically lauded NYC cabaret shows are described as smart and modern."
"Wolff doesn't disappoint. 'I Cant Trace Time' is smart, modern and terrifically engaging. She lets the music tell the story." - Marilyn Lester, Nitelife Exchange
"Her contagious enthusiasm and her pleasing Broadway and 1970s pop-honed voice make an immediate connection with her audience." -Robert Windeler, Bistro Awards
"Andrea bell Wolff is a powerhouse, with the heart of a true, theatrical Storyteller." - David Sabella, Cabaret Hot Spot
