THE EPITOME OF REGRET: A MUSICAL at Toronto's Unit 102 Theatre
THE EPITOME OF REGRET: A MUSICAL
Featuring: Nicole Marie McCafferty, Meagan Tuck, & Tony Babcock Written & Directed by: Mark Datuin Music by: Paul Morrison, Iain Gardner, & Mark Datuin Lyrics by: Mark Datuin
Musical, Comedy
A whore. A hyperbolic lunatic. A nerdy foreigner. A cocky French barista. A sexy grandma. The Epitome of Regret is a comedy-musical delving into the theme of remorse and self-condemnation, while poking fun at everyone's problems. It follows the lives of three young individuals in a neighbourhood of competing cafes and where everyone is care-free about their misery. What starts off as an ordinary day quickly turns their uninspiring routines into a plethora of revelations. A healthy dose of awkward compunction in the form of a musical. Wouldn't it be great if we could just sing away our problems? Hilarious and raunchy. Not recommended for children.
Brought to you by Mark Datuin of MAD Resilience Films, the writer/director of Indiscriminate Eyes and Six Degrees Without Separation, and Midway to Angie.
See this show in Toronto before it embarks on a west coast tour, including the Vancouver Fringe Festival.
