Life, Music and Love in NYC ... so far -  featuring Dawn Padmore, Soprano with Brian Holman, acclaimed pianist & conductor, and a special appearance by Kofo the Wonderman, master talking drummer. Director, Ira Siff.

Join Dawn & Brian as they take a look at life and love in NYC (so far, at least), with side-trips to Liberia, Nigeria and a hop over to France and Italy, through a variety of music: Traditional and original songs from Liberian composer and performer, Hawa Daisy Moore, Nigerian scholars and composers, Akin Euba and Joshua Uzoigwe; American composer, Undine Smith Moore; Chandler Carter, William Bolcom; and arias by Giuseppe Verdi. Be prepared to laugh out loud, and perhaps shed a tear or two!

Dawn Padmore is a Liberian-born soprano, known internationally for her diverse repertoire. Career highlights include performances at NYCs prestigious Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center. She has performed at festivals in the US, Caribbean, West Africa, South Africa, and Europe, and is known as a champion of music by African composers. Dawn has also performed as a soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra and Delaware Symphony.  She was honored to sing for the inauguration of the Republic of Liberia's President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and for Bishop Desmond Tutu.

"A silky soprano" (Toronto Star)
