The show is full of Gilberts wit and foolery while Sullivans music will have everybody humming tunes. The Pirates of Penzance has nearly flawless elegance. The joyous Paradox trio; the exquisite duet, Ah, leave me not to pine by Mabel and Frederic; the rippling performance of Major-General's I am the very model of a modern major general and the Pirates, With catlike tread upon our way we steal are just a few of the many rich musical moments.
