"AWAKENINGS & BEGINNINGS Dance Festival" - 2019 has grown again. This festival has seen the largest growth of all the festivals in Los Angeles. It now runs from Jan 5 - 19 comprised of fun master classes, community building, dancer development, performance excitement, art, education, music and of course dance performances. Please be aware there are several events and other parts of this festival. This specific ticket link is for the closing night performance on January 19, 2019 8pm.
Our theme this year: "TRUTH!" (All the artists had their own interpretation - "There is no wrong answer, only good art." Noelle Andressen)
Many things have happened in our society this past year and as life reflects art and art reflects life, we have been able to incorporate a myriad of meanings of the word "Truth" for this year's festival. We have strong, all women ensembles that help celebrate the women's march downtown this year. That makes our festival a great way to continue in the celebration all day and night long. After you march, come "dance with us" as you'll surely feel like you're part of the performance in this artistic and intimate space that DIAVOLO Space is. We have daring modern dance and expressive movement pieces; percussive and passionate art-works; our men are engaging and bring messages of hope, intensity, and community; and amazing athleticism that will please.

JOIN us for a very exciting evening of Dance Art & Multi-Media Dance Performances as we close our beloved festival on this night. This festival sells-out every year thanks to supporters like you; be sure to get your tickets on line now. Do not wait, it'd be disappointing to turn you away.
DESCRIPTION:
This 8:00 pm formal performance presents professional Established Artists & Dance Companies and professional Emerging Artists Program in the International arena. This Closing Night Performance will present different dance disciplines such as ballet, modern, and contemporary forms of dance. Surely to be an amazing presentation.

PARKING:
Ample parking in front of DIAVOLO Space and anywhere in the Brewery Arts parking lot and on the street. Please do read the signage as some store-front and shop owners do not allow for parking in front of their space even after hours. You will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense. Please read the signs carefully. Thank you.
WILL CALL:
Once you arrive at DIAVOLO Space, please find the Will Call Desk outside to the left of the stairwell. Once you've checked in you may proceed inside and claim your seat.
SEATING:
First come first served general seating-not reserved. We advise that you arrive early. House opens at 6:30 pm.
