Devised and performed by Christine Germain and Brigitta Schrepfer
www.christinegermainstem.org / www.Somafon.com
Christine Germain uses touch on a daily basis to teach and communicate and is passionate about this new collaboration and research about the first sense. Brigitta Schrepfer loves dance as a language full of vividness! The two met in Switzerland and are now in residence with Berkeley Rep and Footloose to create a performance experience that invites the audience to reflect, communicate and explore their relationship to touch.

Performing Valeska
Written and performed by Janet Collard; live music by Terran Olson www.janetcollard.com
Valeska Gert was considered a wild, eccentric artist of the Weimar era, known for her theatrical dance solos based on life in 1920's Berlin. Janet Collard portrays Valeska while narrating her story and dancing her solos. Costumes based on Gert's original designs were made by Keriann Egeland. The composer, Terran Olson, will perform the score live.

fey/done/a/weigh
Devised and performed by Heather Stockton and Garth Grimball of Wax Poet(s)
Heather Stockton and Garth Grimball will perform excerpts from fey/done/a/weigh premiering at ODC March 15-16, 2019. In this original dance work, their mutual popular culture experiences form the how and where we fit into and the potential deformity of fitting in. This duet culls from emotional archaeology on how pop culture informed our understanding of fatness and effeminacy.
