Creating Peace: A Free Public Talk @ the DMA
Enjoy a Delightful Day Out at the DMA! Enjoy a free talk and meditation with American Buddhist Monk Gen Kelsang Menla. Delicious lunches are available in the DMA cafe or just across the street from the many food trucks at Klyde Warren Park. Free self-guided tours of the Asian Art Collection will be available before and after the talk.
ABOUT THE TALK: CREATING PEACE We all want to experience peace within our mind, peace in our life, and peace in our world. Yet sometimes due to the busyness and stresses of life and the conflict in our societies, it can be hard to see how this is possible. Gen Kelsang Menla will share some clear and practical Buddhist teachings and meditations that will show us the possibility of true peace and happiness.
Gen Menla will draw from the inspiring and enlightening book The New Meditation Handbook and the meditation audio series, Living Meditation.
