Comics May 7th...
Vince Maranto (headliner): a regular at Zanies, The Funny Bones, The Improv, Catch A Rising Star, and Funny Business, among many, many others. A total over 20,000 shows @ over 450 different clubs, colleges and one nighters. Vince's show consists of everyday occurrences and audience dialogue.
Kat Herskovic (feature): A star on the rise, she is busy performing stand up in clubs, theaters and festivals nationwide; and has also been recognized for the outstanding performance of her one-woman variety show, Neurotica. Kat Herskovic is a rare treat who has been likened to a delicious bag of gourmet trail mix sweet, salty and a little nutty... the fancy kind with the candied ginger pieces for a bit of sugary spice. Go ahead, eat the whole bag! Kats brand of comedy will leave you fully satisfied while also giddy with excitement for the next time!
Steven J. Springer (feature): a 54-year-old self depreciating stand-up comedian in the style of Rodney Dangerfield. Steven plays the loveable loser as he talks about everything from his lackluster love life to his family and his years as a correctional officer. Steven has been doing stand-up 10 years based out of Chicago and has performed and featured all over the Midwest.
Peter Lipsey (emcee): Touted as the 87th funniest comedian in the country and belting out jokes for the last 29 years, Peters premise, set-up and punch one-liner delivery leaves his intelligent, literate and sharp audiences laughing well after the show is over. Peter earned a BA in Radio/TV in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. He lives in Wilmette with his wife and three kids. www.peterlipsey.com
Richard Laible (Producer): Richard Laible is an alumnus of Chicagos The Second City, iO and a founding member of The Annoyance Theater. He has written and performed in hundreds of corporate industrials for numerous Fortune 500 companies including Discover Card, HP, Sony, Cisco, Motorola, McDonalds, Kraft, IBM, SAP and many, many more. Richard is a Co-Producer of The Bookstall After Dark comedy series. Richard and his family reside in Winnetka, Illinois. Richard also likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, making love at midnight in the dunes on the Cape. www.RichardLaible.com
