The workshop will begin with a short interactive presentation and tour of our farm. Along the tour we will look for areas that fit under the categories of S.T.E.A.M. (Science/Technology/Engineering/Art/Math). The middle of the presentation will be a variety of hands on activities for young children, and a different set of activities for older children/adults. The end of the workshop will be a discussion of trials and achievements we have encountered in our five years from buying to running a small farm. By the end of our time together we hope you will see farming not just as a single activity; but as a combination of science, technology, engineering, art, math, and hard work.
Children (ages 4 and over) are welcome with a ticketed adult and their own ticket (for the child). Designed for ages 4 to 18.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

Michelle also holds farm themed programs for young children and their families to help inspire the next generation.
