Learn how to slaughter and process your own meat birds. Techniques will be demonstrated, hands-on participation is expected. Class cost includes a chicken for you to take home. We will walk you through the process of humanely killing and butchering a chicken at home. Tools, gloves, and live chickens will be provided. Although it is not a greatly messy process, please wear grubby clothes and bring a cooler with ice to transport your chicken home.
No children or pets, please.
