Spend the day at Raleigh's Hillside Farm to learn the essentials of CSA. Weve grown our CSA from 8 to 250 members in the past seven years and have learned a lot along the way! This five-hour session will include an array of topics: goal setting, crop planning, member communication, essential tools and infrastructure, pack flow, and pack shed efficiencies. Lauren will share the history of her farm during a welcome farm tour. A healthy lunch from locally-owned Grove Market is included.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
