Pack up your blanket and picnic basket with your plates and silverware and join us on the farm for some delicious pizza, served "picnic-style".
ABOUT THE PIZZAS:
Savor hand-crafted pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Three signature pizzas from which to choose, made with Emmi Roth cheeses and local ingredients.
(1) "On Wisconsin" Pizza
This pizza is topped with a beer cheese sauce made with beer from Minhas Craft Brewery and Emmi Roth's Prairie Sunset cheese, local bratwurst and finished with Roth Cheese's award-winning Grand Cru.
(2) Plain Jane Pizza
Emmi Roth cheese blend with from-scratch tomato sauce.
(3) Spinach & Cheese Pizza
Fresh spinach and Emmi Roth cheese with from-scratch tomato sauce.
All pizzas are personal size and prepared and cooked to order in a 700-degree wood-fired pizza oven.
This is a "slow food" event, so pizzas will be made as quickly as possible, first come, first served during the event. Pizzas can be ordered and served as quickly as possible, but for obvious reasons, we cannot serve everyone at the same time.
WHAT YOU GET WITH EACH FUNDRAISING MEAL TICKET:
Each adult ticket for this fund-raising meal includes a roughly-sized 8-inch, made-to-order personal pizza (kids receive a half pizza), a choice of farm fresh vegetables on a veggie tray, a garden-fresh salad, a selection of award-winning Emmi Roth cheeses to sample, and root beer or root beer floats made with Wisconsin-made Cedar Crest Ice Cream. Meals prepared with seasonal, sustainably and locally sourced ingredients. Tickets are non-refundable.
Proceeds benefit SOIL SISTERS.
WHAT TO DO ON THE FARM:
Before or after your pizza dinner...
- go on a self-guided farm tour to see where your food is grown
- relax in the shade at Inn Serendipity's hammock village
- challenge a family member to a game of chess with the life-sized chess set
- take a selfie with Yoda or a Star Wars Stormtrooper, painted on the side of one of the outbuildings
- Weather depending, end the celebration with a sunset bonfire.
PRICES:
Adult Tickets: $35/per adult (1 personal-sized pizza)
Child Tickets (ages 2 to 12): $10/per child (1/2 personal-sized pizza)
Children under 2 years old are free (pizza not included)
NOTES:
All attendees (other than children under 2 years of age) must be ticketed. This is a special, one-time private fundraising event for SOIL SISTERS.
Space limited to the first 50 paid reservations. Pizza serving times are scheduled in roughly half hour to 45-minute intervals, first come, first served. Obviously, not everyone can be served at the same time. This is a "slow food" event with each pizza made to order.
SPECIAL NOTE on ALCOHOL: Please do not bring alcohol to this event. This is a very family-friendly event and we need to avoid having any alcohol being consumed on premises. Other SOIL SISTERS culinary events are more appropriate should you wish to enjoy wine, beer or spirits.
As with all other SOIL SISTERS events, pets are not permitted.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the event.
