Music in the Orchard Summer Benefit Series 2013 Livermore, CA
Join us for the first summer music series held at The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa. Partnering with Nottingham Cellars and Altamont Beer Works. Proceeds to benefit Pedrozzi Foundation who encourage and assist Livermore students in their pursuit of higher education and advanced training by providing scholarships, information, and other resources.
Souvenir wine glass and first pour of wine or beer included with ticket.
Thursday, July 25, 2013 (6-9pm) will feature music by Wolf Hamlin and The Front Porch Drifters.
Artist Bio- Wolf Hamlin burst on to the national music scene in 2012 after appearing on American Idol season 11 and taking his smokey sweet voice on the road with his outlaw country band The Front Porch Drifters. Wolf, a Kansas boy, grew up working on engine blocks in his living room while Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings records played incessantly. A prolific song writer and story teller Wolf Hamlin brings a new voice and sound to a genre influenced by Willie, Cash, Haggard, Jr. and Jennings. Standing 6' 3" and over 225 lbs. Wolf brings down the house every night with his powerful vocals, contagious energy and a reputation of keeping the party going well after closing time. While Wolf plays the Git-Fiddle, The Front Porch Drifters stay in the pocket for groove stomping diddies, but improvisational violin and guitar solos are a staple in every set.
Thursday, August 29, 2013 (6-9pm) will feature music by Crawdad Republic.
Artist Bio- Crawdad Republic is a foot stompin'- knee slappin' - whiskey drinkin' - grandma charmin' - bluegrass quartet born and bred in the heart of California's wine country. These boys have been known to sing the pants off the chastest of females and warm the hearts of the burliest of bros. So spit on your hands and grab a partner because if there's beer to drink and hoe's to down Crawdad Republic is most likely providing the bluegrass.
Thursday, September 26, 2013 (6-9pm) will feature music by Too Much Information.
Artist Bio- T.M.I (Too Much Information) is an assembly of the best musicians and singers the Bay Area has to offer! This group of dynamic musicians and vocalists combine years of professional talent and passion to provide an eclectic, rich sound covering rock and pop hits from the 60' through today. T.M.I is your Premier Dance/Rock band serving the Bay Area of Northern California for corporate events, weddings, social parties and prestige local clubs and bars.
Wine by Nottingham Cellars, beer by Altamont Beer Works and food by Ken's Wood Fire Pizza will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and relax under the olive trees.
