Taste of Main Event to support the Children's Response Center
On Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 11:30am-4:30pm (wine tasting begins at 1:00pm) the Children's Response Center is hosting the fifth annual Taste of Main event, in coordination with distinguished shops and award winning restaurants on Old Bellevue's celebrated Main Street. Adult and child passports for admission to the event are $40* (children 14 & under are free with a suggested donation). Passports for wine tasting only are $10. Passports are available online or the day of the event on Main street and 102nd Ave NE in front of the 520 Bar & Grill. This is also the will call location for those buying tickets online. Passport holders will receive a fabulous swag bag with quality items and a beautiful wine glass to use for your wine tasting!
*Adult Passports come with a wine glass for wine tasting along with food tasting.
Your passport is valued at over $100 and is your ticket to sample delectable appetizers, entrees, desserts, wine and beer from participating Main Street restaurants. As you taste your way down the street, stop for musical performances, art gallery viewings, spa services, one-day-sales and a variety of other special offers hosted by Old Bellevue's boutiques and businesses. Proceeds from the event support the Children's Response Center (CRC), which serves children who have survived abuse, crime and traumatic events. CRC provides counseling, advocacy and prevention services in East and North King County. CRC is managed by Harborview Medical Center and UW Medicine, and is a 501(c)(3) organization through the University of Washington Foundation.
