Weird! True Hollywood Tales Presents "Grand Ole Singers"
From its humble roots in American folk music all the way to the bright lights of Nashville, country music has long been thought of as "the White man's blues". With epic songs about cheating spouses, fighting, drinking too much and working dead end jobs, the country singer kept it just as real as any rapper today.
In this episode of Weird! True Hollywood Tales we'll profiling some of those dynamic performers who blazed a trail by living life by their own rules, creating their own myths and dying tragically in the process. We'll also discuss the history of country music in 20th century America and its impact on pop culture.
