A fantastic three act matinee on New Years Day featuring rockers Sarah Borges, Field Day and Thalia Zedek. As rock phenoms go, Sarah Borges has never been easy to pin down. Since bursting onto the national scene in 2005 as the lead singer of the Broken Singles, she hasnt allowed a speck of dust to settle on her sound or her story. Instead, the Massachusetts native has just kept on moving and shaking - which she surely will do this afternoon! Field day plays what James Reed of The Boston Globe called Seriously raucous barroom rock that stings with lean power chords and open-hearted lyrics. Finally, Thalia Zedek is an unparalleled voice in rock music. Her music straddles the line between intimate and visceral. Zedek has received wide acclaim for her intense vocal performances and guitar playing in past projects Come, Uzi, Live Skull, and most recently her new trio E with Gavin McCarthy (Karate) and Jason Sidney Sanford (Neptune).
