Natural Mushroom Dyes of Sonoma County
Discover an amazing range of vibrant natural dye colors hidden in our Sonoma County wild mushrooms. Under the guidance of local expert mushroom dyer and scientific illustrator Dorothy Beebee, use local fresh and dried fungi to dye samples of pre-mordanted wool and silk fibers to take home. Expect a shimmering spectrum of reds, rose, burnt orange, yellow and maybe even a magical blue-green and violet dye to emerge from our dye pots! All fungi and fibers will be provided.
