The Los Angeles premiere of Zack Hoffman's tour de force one-man play, "Tuxedo Man", at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks for three performances. August 1st through August 3rd. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. All tickets $20. Tickets are on sale now at brownpapertickets.com.

"Nick Sands, a fictional jazz singer of yesteryear, comes to life in this one-man show written and performed by Zack Hoffman. He makes a convincing character study of Sands with a performance that takes place before, during and after one nightclub gig. Hoffman's voice and the physicality of his performance are impressive. He is a jazz singer, and the sweat and exhaustion on his face after his performance aren't feigned. Sands tells stories from his heyday.
