Calf Island Adventure
Come join us on a guided tour! The boat we will travel in has no rest rooms, and will require moderate effort boarding at the dock in Boston and landing at the dock at Calf Island. Today a brick chimney is the sole reminder of an early 20th century estate, "The Moorings," that was on this outer harbor island. In 1789 the Massachusetts Humane Society built one of its first refuge huts on the southwest shore. Calf Island itself will include rocky beach and grass covered pathways, steep rocky paths featuring some un-stable stones occasionally.
Bring your own food and drink (& carry off!). The trip travels rain or shine with no refunds. Trip canceled ONLY by captains orders.
