Roz Cohen - Atherton Summer Season 2013
Roz Cohen is a sultry, sassy songstress, bringing her unique talent and humor in song interpretation and live entertainment to HPR's Atherton Studio. Professionally singing, dancing, and acting from a young age, Roz has performed along the East Coast in nightclubs, dinner theaters, and professional stages, including Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Her sidemen in the Atherton will be jazz virtuousos Josh Kaye on piano and the Big Island's own Bill Noble on reeds and winds. As Roz sings comfortably in French, Yiddish, and English, she can transport you to Piaf's Paris, Brice's Borsht Belt, the New York Broadway stage, and the San Francisco cabaret scene. Roz and her colleagues are sure to delight you with an evening of "Klezmer, Cabaret, and All That Jazz."
