Join four strange women for an evening of surreal storytelling. Doors at 7PM. Readings begin at 7:30 PM. $7 in advance / $10 at the door. All ages welcome.

MEET THE STRANGE WOMEN.
Lynne Ellis writes in pen. Her words appear in WA 129 (Sage Hill Press), The Stars (Outrider Press), Cascadia Rising Review, Anesthesiology, and PageBoy. She is the recipient of this year's Red Wheelbarrow poetry prize and was a finalist for the 49th Parallel award (Bellingham Review). As a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (Local 15), Lynne continues to try to bring poetry to the catwalks and craft to the page. Her chapbook, In these failing times I can forget, is available from Papeachu Press.
Helen K. Thomas is a native of Seattle, WA by way of Lagos, Nigeria. She holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and an M.A. in Cultural Studies from University of Washington, Bothell. She writes Young Adult fiction about Black girls surviving, thriving and trying to figure it all out in the Pacific Northwest.
Gabrielle Bates's poems and poetry comics have been published in the New Yorker, Poetry, Black Warrior Review, and Gulf Coast, and featured in anthologies, exhibitions, and conferences all over the world. The recipient of support from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, Hugo House, and Artist Trust, she currently works for Open Books: A Poem Emporium, co-hosts The Poet Salon podcast, and helps edit the Seattle Review, Poetry Northwest, Broadsided Press, and Bull City Press. Kamari Bright is a St. Louis-born creative who has had work featured in publications, released a poetry book, and had works screened in an international film festival.
