Opening Night Event
Gala and accompanying Screening Event. You will meet filmmakers and festival guests in a relaxed setting with live music, food and a cocktail reception with a Silent Auction of Hollywood memorabilia and other exciting prizes, and then the entire party watches the Opening Night Film Selection. The Opening Nigh Film is "Akeelah and the Bee" and will feature a Q&A with star, Laurence Fishburne.
