Historic Co-op Housing
Come find out about housing cooperatives in our area, where they are, how they work. There are units for sale in Seattle co-ops now, plus ideas and proposals for new ones. Current legal cooperatives exist in Belltown, Capitol Hill, Eastlake, Ravenna, University District, and Queen Anne. They tend to be more affordable to purchase than other types of housing, including condominiums. Plus, you have more say about how the property is managed. Learn about financing available to purchase them. There's no cost to attend, but you must reserve a ticket. Due to venue policy, attendees must be 21 or over. This presentation will include a slideshow. There will be follow up opportunities as well, such as workshops, real estate leads and expert advice about a wide array of owner co-ops and other shared living options.
