Haunt/Idle Hands/Hellfire
Haunt (Fresno, CA) Beastmaker's Trevor William Church decided to launch his NWOBHM project with the Luminous Eyes EP in 2017, and the full-length Burst Into Flame in 2018 (Shadow Kingdom Records). In the short time they've been around, Haunt has been featured in Rolling stone and Decibel Magazine (with a Decibel Flexi record to boot), played major festivals (Psycho Las Vegas, Decibel Beer and Metal Fest, Frost and Fire), and just wrapped up a massive tour with Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust. Haunt is on fire...do not miss your chance to see them in a small venue... "...bandleader Trevor William Church who also heads up the more Sabbath-indebted Beastmaker writes great songs. His ready-made anthems combine the ornate riffs, thundering rhythms and wailing vocals of cult Eighties bands like Grim Reaper and Angel Witch with the world-weary pathos of Thin Lizzy." -Rolling Stone Magazine https://hauntthenation.bandcamp.com/album/burst-into-flame
Hell Fire (San Francisco, CA) In February of 2018 Hell Fire signed with RidingEasy Records and hit the road on a north american tour with fellow up and coming NWOTHM band Haunt. Now the band has just completed recording their third album scheduled to be released in the beginning of 2019 through Riding Easy Records, the bands first non independent release. These guys bring the wrath that Maiden did in their heyday, but with the ferocity of modern day metal. With a singer that can belt like Halford and a pair of guitarists that intend on shredding your faces off! -Wrecked Reviews https://hellfiremetal.bandcamp.com/album/free-again
Idle Hands (Portland, OR) Formed in the heart of the Pacific Northwest in the fall of 2017, IDLE HANDS initially began solely as a creative outlet for former Spellcaster bassist Gabriel Franco, who has filled out the band with 2 other members of Spellcaster. As with Spellcaster theres plenty of 80s heavy metal influence to be found, but the darker melodies and pacing of the songs give off just as much of a gothic rock and straight up hard rock feel. "Mark my words, this band is going to be everywhere in the next couple of years. If you're a fan of the whole 80s nostalgia craze, NWOBHM or anything in between, jump on the bandwagon before your a poseur." -Metal Injection https://idlehandspdx.bandcamp.com/releases
