Mari Black World Fiddle Ensemble (Evening Concert Only)
Mari Black is a two-time winner of U.S. National Scottish Fiddling Championships and the Canadian Maritime Fiddling Competition. She also took home top honors at Scotland's Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship and the Canadian Novelty Fiddle Championship. And she did all of this before turning 30 years old.
A multistyle violinist and champion fiddler, Mari is rapidly building a reputation as one of the most dynamic young artists of her generation. If you like performers like April Verch and Marc OConnor, you should attend this event. First time at The Sounding Board and a must for anyone who enjoys traditional fiddling.
