Music Theory for Choir Singers: Beginners
This workshop is an introduction to sight singing and music theory for singing in a choir. It will be gently paced and aimed at beginners. We will cover intervals, rhythms, key signatures and basic harmony.
We will look at simple musical notation and markings, such as repeat signs, dynamics and other commonly encountered symbols and how they impact on not only structure of written music but expression/artistry.
We will be singing simple passages during the classes.
There is a follow on course 1 week later to bed in what you have learnt and help you keep practising.
Please note there are no refunds.
