Beginning Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CC (Jan 16, 23 and 30)
Wednesdays on January 16th, 23rd and 30th | 6:30pm - 9:30pm (attendance at both sessions required)

This workshop will cover the essentials for learning to edit with Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud, a leading platform used by many professional filmmakers for editing digital media. The class will provide the training so students will have the skills to confidently, efficiently and effectively edit films with the most up to date version of this software. We will focus on the basics about the interface, the timeline, and the workflow.
Equipment: iMac stations with Adobe Premiere Pro CC are provided.
Teaching Artist: Tifa Tomb
Tifa Tomb is a local editor and director. She taught Film history and English for 9 years in the California Community College system. She was a top ten finalist of the Cinequest Storyteller Film Festival, and in the top three screenwriters of the Hollywood Black Film Festival. Locally, her film, Partygoers, was admitted to the 2017 Local Sightings Film festival. She is a member of the 2017 Oculus LaunchPad for 360 filmmaking, and she directed Retch, a short film due out later this year.
