Who are you as an improviser? What are your natural talents and super powers and how can you add to them?
In this Winter Boot Camp with Maria Peters you'll leave having tried a variety of improv styles, will have received clear, constructive individual feedback and know how to harness your unique strengths.
Maria says: I believe that every single improviser is capable of being competent in a broad range of improv styles. I also believe that many improvisers have a certain comfort zone in which they perform, such as stock characters, pace and style. This course is about trying out different methods of improvising and feeling more confident in them. All in a supportive and fun environment.
This course will be 8 sessions over 4 Days. The first 4 sessions will be like a glorious improv assault course. Non-stop scenes, games, formats and exercise set ups will be introduced for you to get as much improvising time as possible. In the final 4 sessions you will receive individually-tailored, constructive feedback and personal challenges that stretch and grows you as a player.
This course is for improvisers who have had some show experience and are looking to improve their skillset. Not suitable for beginners.
