Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal at Peninsula Ballet

Peninsula Ballet has generously invited families with autism and related disabilities again for the full dress rehearsal for their spectacular performance of the classic ballet, "The Nutcracker"!

Peninsula Ballet's Nutcracker has become the holiday favorite, delighting audiences throughout northern California. Over 125 characters in sumptuous costumes bring the story alive for young and old. From the opening strains of the overture to the sparkling finale, audience members agree "it is more than wonderful", "there is magic at every moment" "we could not stop talking about it".

This is a sensory-friendly, "shush-proof" event, held in collaboration with Autism Fun Bay Area. You can go in an out of the performance space, the restrooms are close by; there is a large lobby where you can take your child to relax or if he or she is making lots of noise (for safety reasons, we don't want to distract the dancers). The theater has pretty spots inside to take family photos, last year there was a large Christmas tree.

Suggested donation of $10 per person (given directly to Peninsula Ballet).
