Core Project's interdisciplinary work features original movement, media, and music as we attempt to describe/explore/illustrate/perform/discuss CONNECTION. Can it be explained to someone who has never felt it? Are we all capable of connecting? Is it just chemical attraction? Is there a deeper notion to what attracts one person to another, whether they be family, friend, lover or other? Featuring "soaringly acrobatic and zealously performed" (Chicago Dance Critic Sid Smith) designs, the collaborative artists of Core Project seamlessly thread touching stories of connection through athletic contemporary dance combined with dynamic and integral music and media mixes to explore all sides of interpersonal attraction.
