Foothill Conservancy is excited to announce the return of John McCutcheon for a benefit concert in the beautiful, historic Mother Lode town of Mokelumne Hill. McCutcheons last Conservancy benefit was in 2001 and his last Mokelumne Hill performance was in 2004.
John McCutcheon is one of the most respected and loved folksingers. As an instrumentalist, he is a master of a dozen different traditional instruments, most notably the rare and beautiful hammer dulcimer. His songwriting has been hailed by critics and singers around the globe. His thirty recordings have garnered every imaginable honor including seven Grammy nominations. He has produced over twenty albums of other artists, from traditional fiddlers to contemporary singer-songwriters to educational and documentary works. His books and instructional materials have introduced budding players to the joys of their own musicality.
Advance ticket prices are $30 adults, $15 children. A limited amount of tickets will be $35/$20 at the door.
Foothill Conservancy is a community-based environmental nonprofit organizaiton working in Amador and Calaveras counties to protect our lands, rivers and forests for current and future generations.
