School of Rock Portland and PROWUS.org present History of Portland
School of Rock Portland and PROWUS.org are collaborating on an epic concert--History of Portland-- on the evening of January 18th at Holocene. The show will feature Portland School of Rock students performing songs by artists who have impacted the Portland music scene, and all proceeds from the event will benefit the PROWUS Music Scholarship Fund for youth in the Portland area.
This years History of Portland lineup will include songs from the following artists:
Dead Moon - The Decemberists - Elliott Smith - The Exploding Hearts - Hazel - The Kingsmen - Stephen Malkmus and the Jinks - Modest Mouse - Neo Boys - Nu Shooz - Poison Idea - Quarterflash - Red Fang - Team Dresch - Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Wipers - Quasi - Sleater-Kinney
