The Day the Rainbow Broke Up
The Strollers proudly presents "The Day the Rainbow Broke Up," an original children's production by Casey Bell. This colorful story full of music, movement, costumes, and comedy poses the question of what might happen if all the colors of the rainbow decided to strike out on their own. As each color tries to prove itself the best, they encounter creatures from nature who try to show them the error of their ways. They learn about cooperation, friendship, and the beautiful power of diversity.
But will the colors learn the lesson? Can the rainbow be saved? Come out and see for yourself!
Entertaining for toddlers, teens, and grown-ups. Kids get to sing along, dance along, and get up close and personal with the colors and creatures. A great way to break up the winter blahs with a bright funny trip through all the colors of nature!
Running time: 50-60 minutes (show + meet-the-creatures opportunity afterward)
Director: Dena Daniel Assistant director: Amanda Feliciano Costumes and music: Carol Cornicelli Set & lighting: John Mendlovitz & Ken Lordy
