Creating the Magic

The rising stars of CityDance Conservatory, Petite Conservatory and Select Plus students enchant audiences with their annual winter showcase in an exciting program of ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and world dance.

Creating the Magic features choreography by CityDance faculty, Ignite artists and guests. You will see excerpts from Don Quixote and variations from famous classical ballets staged by Stanislav Issaev, CityDance Conservatory Ballet Master. Conservatory Seniors dance their solos and group pieces created by talented Teaching faculty artists: Therese Gahl, Kaitlin Madzelan, Caroline Rocher, Keith Thomas, Monique Walker, Diana Amalfitano, Ignite Artist Sarah J. Ewing and Robert J. Priore, Choreographer-in-Residence. Guest artist works include Koresh Dance Company, Bruce Wood Dance, YY Dance Company. Conservatory Dancers will also share two new works that they have created in Vladimir Angelov's Summer ICONS intensive.
