Volunteers for Adventure

Please join us for a joint party hosted by local Rotary Clubs and the National Peace Corps Association. This event will showcase the various projects being conducted through Bay Area Rotary Clubs to impact communities throughout the world, and in particular prior host communities of returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Rotary is a great way to have a "Peace Corps" experience while you keep your day job. For returned Peace Corps Volunteers, this is a way to 'Corps Some More. This event is hosted by the Rotary Clubs of San Carlos, Woodside, and Mill Valley, in cooperation with the National Peace Corps Association. We will showcase the following projects:

-- Building greenhouses in the Andes Mountains of Peru

-- Constructing an irrigation aqueduct in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco

-- Youth education services in Sierra Leone

-- Water purification plants in over 10 countries

The party is at Domenico Winery in San Carlos from 1 to 5 pm, with soft drinks and light appetizers provided. Tickets are $30 for adults, and kids are free. Please come check out Rotary and see how you can volunteer for adventure!
