Zoe Mulford
Zoe Mulford charms audiences with powerful, story-driven songwriting, an engaging stage presence, and an unlabored vocal style. She backs her voice with guitar or claw-hammer banjo, drawing on the traditional music of Appalachia and the British Isles and stealing a few pages from the American Songbook to create music that feels both comfortably lived-in and sparklingly fresh.
Her fifth album, Small Brown Birds, centers on a new collaboration with English fiddler and mandolinist Tom Kitching. The songs trace a progression from winter to spring, with a message of resilience, community, and hope in times of trouble. The song "The President Sang Amazing Grace" drew the attention of Joan Baez, who has covered it on her 2018 album "Whistle Down the Wind."

Deeper Than The Skin:
Reggie Harris & Greg Greenway
Reggie and Greg have a unique story. Born three days apart, ancestry flowing through the same portal of history, Richmond, VA. They are on a pilgrimage together - one that began three decades ago. The racial divisions that are the reality of America started them in two different worlds, but the amazing bonds of music, mutual respect, sheer admiration and shared vision have brought them together as friends and colleagues.

Their stories together form the quintessential American story. The music that flowed from these experiences is powered by unadorned truth, raw and riveting, beautiful and uplifting. Echoing Gandhi, they believe that in telling our truths, we are able to rise up from the past and build bridges to each other and the future. The presentation will be interactive and there will be time at the end for discussion.
