Misconceptions of the Permitting Process
As a part of every project, architects look to clearly describe a projects scope of work to a plans examiner. This course will provide a panel discussion focusing on the common misconceptions of the permitting process and give a clear look at an examiners perspective of permit drawings. A panel of plan examiners will take part in a discussion centered on the ins and outs of the permitting process and answer permitting questions from attendees. Participants are encouraged to submit questions for the speakers prior to the session.
Speakers: Rob Brokaw, Chief Building Official of Columbus and Roger Estep, Chief Building Official of Upper Arlington
