Happy Ha-Ha-Ha-lidays: What the Elf?! A Holiday Comedy Show! Starring Jason Schommer and Friends Hits the Stage in Little Falls for One Night Only on Saturday, Dec 8. Great River Arts is proud to present Happy Ha-Ha-Ha-lidays: What the Elf?! an all-new hysterical night of holiday laughs on Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 PM at the Great River Arts Center in historic downtown Little Falls. For one night only Jason Schommer and friends hit the stage with comedy, music and prizes! Tickets are $13 and all seating is general admission. Back by popular demand for the sixth year in a row, Jason Schommer returns with a brand new hilarious and outrageous night of non-stop laughter! Happy Ha-Ha-Ha-lidays: What the Elf?! celebrates the season with holiday themed stand up comedy, Christmas music performed by Kelly Cordes, and an all new comedy sketch spoof of the classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas set in Little Falls starring Prudence from Bowlus (Jason Schommer), Robyn Gray, Gary Block, Susy Prosapio, Allen Riedeman, Laurie Koll, Rick Converse, Maria Warhol, Melissa Peterson, Steven Weiss and more! Audiences will roar with laughter at How the Grinch Stole Christmas in Little Falls as they follow Prudence from Bowlus on Christmas Eve as she plots to steal Christmas from all those celebrating in Little Whofalls. Will Prudence succeed or will Christmas be saved? Happy Ha-Ha-Ha-lidays: What the Elf?! is a laugh-a-minute look at the holiday season and all of its joy and madness! Do not miss this evening of seasonal cheer busting with wall to wall laughs and unexpected crazy moments including an ugly Christmas sweater contest! Jason Schommer is a standup comedian, actor, director and storyteller who spent two years as the opening act for comedy legend Louie Anderson in Las Vegas and continues to tour with Louie regularly. Minnesotas own comedy icon Louie Anderson says Jason is funny, clever, smart, and on his way to the big time!. As a stand up comic Jason has performed all over the USA as well as Canada and for the US Military in Japan and has worked with such comedy superstars as Chris Kattan (Saturday Night Live, Night at the Roxbury), Josh Blue (Last Comic Standing champion), Judy Tenuta (Grammy Award Best Comedy Album), and Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live, The Ladies Man). A regular performer at The Moth, Jason has won numerous Story Slam competitions and was invited to perform at the GrandSlam at The Fitzgerald Theatre in St. Paul in 2016 and most recently in 2018 at The Guthrie Theater. Jason has worked in New York City for The Rosie ODonnell Show and for Richard Frankel Productions, a Tony Award winning Broadway Producer. Jason has directed and acted in numerous productions including Disneys Beauty and the Beast, Evita, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Pajama Game, Murder at the Howard Johnsons, and Singin in the Rain. Jason recently released his first live comedy album Confessions of a Local Celebrity and worked behind the scenes in Hollywood as a stand in for Louie Anderson in the FX television series Baskets.
