Under the Tree

Spellbound Theatre will present Under the Tree, a 45-minute production for children ages 1-6, created and performed by Lauren Jost and Christine Dehne. Presented at JJ Byrne Playground/Old Stone House on June 9, 16, and 23 with four showings daily at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm.

Join Pea as she travels to a magic world of shifting light, shape and time - under the tree in her own backyard. This immersive collaboration blends visual art, animation, puppetry, and performance in an intimate space hidden away from the rest of the world. This unique performance installation is right in the center of Park Slope. Visitors will touch, smell, and discover the secret world under the tree as they accompany Pea on her unexpected adventure. Reserve a spot for this intimate, immersive experience, staged in a large tent on the grounds of one of Park Slope's most popular parks.

If tickets are not available online, that performance is sold out. You can get on our waiting list by emailing us at spellboundtheatre@gmail.com and specifying which time/date you would like to be waitlisted, and for how many tickets. We will put your name on a list and you will need to arrive at the venue 5 minutes before show time to see if tickets are available. All waitlists are first-come, first-serve and if tickets become available you will need to pay onsite in cash.
