"What Happens When You Have a Claim and Why You Need to Care"
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the entire claims process, available professional liability insurance coverage, and evaluate claims trends to navigate the claims process and avoid losses.
- Discuss and analyze emerging trends in project delivery, insurance requirements, industry technology and evaluate the inherent risks and best practices to avoid them.
- Develop negotiation strategies for professional services agreements, targeted provisions that are "must haves" from a liability perspective and understand fair allocation of risk in contracts.
- Learn how to evaluate project risks in communication, project management, staffing, and client selection to minimize professional liability exposures.
