Dreaming in Yiddish
Once again we gather to celebrate the legacy of Yiddish singer/cultural activist Adrienne Cooper, who passed away in 2011. This year's event will honor singer/composer Yefim "Fima" Chorny and pianist Suzanna Ghergus of Kishinev, Moldova with the 2018 Adrienne Cooper Dreaming in Yiddish Award, and feature a host of the Yiddish music world's leading lights including Cooper's daughter Sarah Gordon, Daniel Kahn, Marilyn Lerner, Ilya Shneyveys, Pete Rushefsky and other special guests.
Dreaming in Yiddish is the name of the influential and inspirational recording made by the late, visionary singer-scholar, Adrienne Cooper (1946-2011).
Tickets: $25 - General Admission Note: This event is free for YNY registrants purchasing 6-day full festival passes.
