The Snow Queen
Celebrate the winter season with The Cabiri, Seattle's favorite contemporary circus and storytelling ensemble. Follow the journey of Gerda, a young woman who travels to strange and magical lands in search of her best friend Kai, who has been abducted by The Snow Queen. Gerda's adventure takes her to the realm of the Rose Witch, the domain of the Lapland woman, and she encounters ravens, robber bandits, and many other mythical creatures on her way. Who will emerge victorious in the final battle to save Kai from the icy clutches of The Snow Queen? Join us to find out. The Snow Queen features aerial acrobatics, juggling, contemporary dance, and live storytelling by members of the Seattle Storytelling Guild. This production is suitable for audience members of all ages.
The Snow Queen will be presented at 6pm and 8pm on Saturday December 22nd and Sunday December 23rd. The performance runs approximately 80 minutes including a short 10 minute intermission.
