Master Class with Rachael Price
Lake Street Dive is one of the hottest pop groups around, and their powerhouse lead singer, Rachael Price, happens to be an NJW alumna! On Monday, November 26 at 8pm she'll be on hand in the Jazz Cave for a special master class, joined by Lori Mechem and Ron Browning, who were her teachers here. Rachael will talk about her career and musical development, how she maintains her vocal health, and much more. She'll also perform some songs.
Cost for the workshop is $50, with reserved seating. Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 12 at 10am through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets are also available by phone at 800-838-3006 24/7 or 615-242-5299 during business hours.
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is a nonprofit organization offering classes for all ages, instruments, and levels, public performances, and special events for the community. The Jazz Workshop is located in the Neuhoff Complex at the end of Monroe Street in East Germantown. Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
