Bullitt Center Tours - Summer Schedule
Public tours of the of the Bullitt Center are offered Tuesday through Friday by the Urban Ecology Partnership located on the ground floor of the Bullitt Center, 1501 E. Madison Street. Enter on the west side, adjacent to McGilvra Place Park. Tours will be lead by volunteer docents from the Urban Ecology Partnership, a collaborative between the University of Washington Integrated Design Lab and the Bullitt Foundation, with assistance by the International Living Futures Institute.
Tours will begin with Exhibit 1.0: Living Proof and will include the building's mechanical and electrical rooms and the "irresistible" stairway.
Tours begin at 4 PM, Tuesday - Friday, and are limited to 20 people per tour. Address: 1501 East Madison (at 15th Avenue)
Tours are free. You must, however, register on Brown Paper Ticket.
We are not able to offer a wait list option. You are welcome to visit The Bullitt Center exhibition space open from noon to 5:00, Tuesday - Saturday located on the ground floor adjacent to McGilvra Park. In addition to the Living Proof 1.0 Exhibit about the building, there is also limited access to the back-of-house and "irresistible stair." Graduate architecture student docents from the University of Washington are on-hand to answer questions. Thank you for your interest in the Bullitt Center.
