The Decalogue Project at John Abbott College
The ten commandments are part of the pivotal set of codes that have defined western culture. In this premier devised theatrical work, the commandments are probed, dissected and rewritten. What are the new commandments for the 21st century? Who gets to write them and who must abide by them? This dramatic exploration uses the very nature of theatricality-its rich visual, aural and textual components- to redefine the codes for a new generation.
* The Decalogue contains potentially distressing material. ** Atmospheric Smoke/Haze and Strobe lighting Effects.
** Limited Seating & Absolutely NO latecomers *** Wheelchair & reduced mobility seating upon advanced request.
****Tuesday December 11th & Wednesday December 12th there will be a 20 minute Talkback with the Director after the show.
