Just when you thought were sick of holiday everything, NYCs most demented drag diva heads back to the Crescent City for a one night only sneak attack on Christmas. Shell butcher all your favorite Christmas classicsfrom carols to pop ditties. I refuse to let Mariah Carey be the only holiday heifer struggling to hit high notes, say Bun-Bun. And Im happy to join the war on Christmas with a litany of raucous song parodies like Have Yourself a Cher-y Little Christmas, The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen and I Saw Daddy Fisting Santa Claus. Definitely not the show for the faint of heart, the overly PC or those who shun vulgarity. But if you love to laugh, this is the darkest blue holiday hoot youll see this year.
Expect dazzling costumes and an eclectic musical mix extends from Wuthering Heights to Justin Bieber to and even a Christmas open. Donald Trump, Drag Race queens, Frozen and the Salvation Army all will receive jolly jabs at the hands of the comedienne who the NY Times recently called the shadiest queen in town. Lady Bunny is best known for founding Wigstock, the annual drag festival which was never a drag. She went on to appear in HBOs Dragtime and The Gay List, Wigstock: The Movie, Another Gay Sequel and as the Dean Of Drag on RuPauls Drag U.
