Spuyten Duyvil- Caramoor@KMA
Experience a musical collage in the KMA Sculpture Garden. Coproduced by the Katonah Museum of Art and the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, this lively trilogy of concerts brings together three musical genres: roots, jazz, and classical. Bring a picnic! Wednesday: June 12 Spuyten Duyvil Hailing from the Hudson Valley, Spuyten Duyvil's family-friendly music charges the air with their traditional jug band energy, soaring vocals, amped-up lap steel guitar, and Chicago-style blues harp.
Upcoming Shows: July 17 Gregg August Trio Jazz bassist and composer, Gregg August's sensational rhythms span jazz, Latin, classical and avant-garde music scenes. He is joined by soprano saxophonist Sam Newsome and drummer E. J. Strickland.
August 14 The Winds of New York Strains of Handel, Beethoven, and Françaix float upward through the Sculpture Garden trees, as this classical quartet of flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon plays selections composed or arranged for wind instruments.
Online advance reservations highly recommended. $15 members (KMA), $20 non-members; admission includes complimentary beer and wine. Doors open at 6:30, concerts start at 7:00. In the event of rain, performances will take place off-site.

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE PRIOR TO PURCHASE: In the event of rain, performances will be moved to an indoor venue and seating will be very limited. Please know that Brown Paper Ticket holders will be asked to arrive between 5:30pm and 6:00pm to claim their reserved seating. After 6:00pm, prepaid tickets still guarantee entrance but not seating. After 6:00pm, everyone will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Rain or shine, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
